Hi Fernando, I have been studying piano for almost a year. My inspiration and drive that led me to the piano was you. I have played guitar for a very long time, but I wanted to be able to play some of my favorite songs that truely speak to my soul. Your tunes, 'Light of Heaven', 'Take Heart my Friend', 'If I flee on Morning Wings', and 'Mildred Madalyn Johnson' are just a few of those songs that I aspired to learn. Unfortunately, I can't find the piano sheet music anywhere. Is there some way I can get the music for these tunes? Thanks for blessing me so much with your amazing music and God's grace. Hello Fernando- I was sitting in my car, waiting for my son to get out of piano practice one evening a while back. I had the radio on and you were doing an interview and during part of it you were discussing song writing. You mentioned some writings of a particular person that you were very passionate about, that had a big influence in your personal thoughts about life which in turn inspired your writings. This interview was a while back and I have tried to find an archive of it since. She was a Catholic fiction writer from Georgia who died in 1964. Mystery and Manners is a collection of her essays and lectures which I have found inspiring. The Habit of Being is a collection of her letters and it's also a fantastic read. I would start with her short stories - The Complete Stories of Flannery O'Connor.

The past few months have very sad and difficult for me and my family. My Dad died January 29 with bad health problems. He and my mom lived in Springfield MA. His funeral was Saturday. When I returned home to Dayton tn where my wife and four daughters live. The next morning I got a phone call from my brother. "I think you need to come back up Mom has been rushed to the hospital and is in ICU and they don't know if she will make it. I went back up she lived 26 days and went to be with Jesus. God gave our family 5 beautiful days when she was alert and could talk and laugh it was a special time. If I ever needed The God of all comfort the hour has definately come. He is here helping us. Loss is so painful as you know. He is helping me to have peace in the midst of the loss and pain. We do not grieve as those who have no hope. the truth that I will go to be with them someday helps. I wanted to thank you for your music. There is a soothing comfort to it. very meaningful lyrics. like healing ointment on an aching heart. keep helping us look up.
